Hi, this is Uri,

Today is the 1st of January 2018, the beginning of a new year and an exciting time for the dwarves.

The English edition of On the Shoulders of Dwarves started on November 6th, that means that we’ve been up and about for barely two months, with a new episode coming out every week.

In these months we’ve asked friends to help us with feedback and comments and got many great suggestions and encouraging praises, and I would like to personally thank Stephen Mayo, Thomas Pieters and all the other friends who helped us with advice and encouragement.

One of the questions we asked ourselves when we embarked on this adventure was “is there room for yet another roleplay podcast?” these two months showed us that the answer is yes. Over these two months we’ve published 8 episodes comprising 363 minutes of content. The content of OtSoD has been downloaded or streamed over 1,000 times (1,181 times to be exact) from around 20 different countries (that’s a total of 55,700 minutes of content listened to).

We have many ideas and aspirations for the coming year: bonus episodes, guests speakers, maybe an online gaming marathon for charity like those we did a few years ago in our previous incarnation, and many more.

If there is anything you want to see in our podcast please let us know. Specific problems you’re facing or concept and idea you want to hear our take on. We believe that hearing out ideas and trying new stuff is what keeps the mind sharp and the soul happy.

You can always reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org and if you enjoy our content, please consider sharing it with your friends.

I want to finish with a big thank you to everyone who listened, who dropped us a line about how much they enjoyed our show or helped us to improve by pointing out where we can do better. You guys are awesome.

Uri Lifshitz,
A Dwarf.
